Owned and operated by George Canton, licensed mechanic and former Branch Manager of Wonder Auto in New Glasgow for 24 years.
Brings his 35 year automotive experience to his own small business offering light mechanical work for cars and trucks. Canton Carts Sales and Repair is a licensed motor vehicle inspection centre and is busy in the Fall winter months offering tire changes and undercoating.
Started in September 2022 he and his wife turned his hobby into another small business, purchasing, repairing, customizing and selling golf carts. In 2023 they saw a demand for golf cart rentals and began offering rentals to golf courses, campgrounds, festivals and cottage owners. They service customers in all 4 Atlantic provinces, making several trips to NFLD over the past few years.
In the fall of 2024 he received his Used Car License and now offers several vehicles for sale and just this Spring can offer financing for both vehicles and golf cart sales.
In September 2025, he started his 4th year as a bus driver for CCRCE.
